Scholars

Classes are held for Cecchetti Scholars on Saturday afternoons during the three terms of the academic year. There are no charges for these classes. Auditions for places are held in June each year.

Applicants must be a pupil of a teacher who is a member of the Cecchetti Society Classical Ballet Faculty and must be receiving training in the Cecchetti Method. Boys and girls must have studied the Cecchetti Method for at least one year prior to applying for an audition. Candidates must be 11 years of age and under 16 by the 1st September of the year in which they attend an audition and have passed Grade 4 or a higher examination of the Cecchetti Method.

Classes for Junior Scholars are held at The Arts Educational Schools in Chiswick, London on Saturdays from 2.30 - 5.00pm during each term. On each occasion there is a classical ballet class followed by a class in another discipline.

Classes for Senior Scholars are held at The London Studio Centre, York Way, London N1 on Saturdays from 2.30 - 5.00pm each term. On each occasion there is a classical ballet class followed by a class in another discipline. On the other Saturdays of each term Senior Scholars may attend the classes at the Cecchetti Centre, which are held at the London Studio Centre, free of charge.
