Cecchetti Associates Central

Cecchetti Associates Central offer non syllabus classes for boys and girls aged 7 years and under 18 years who are receiving training in Classical Ballet are held three times a term in London at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. 

These classes are taken by different teachers of Cecchetti and other methods of dance training and consist of a classical ballet class anda second class, which introduces the Associates to different dance genres.  This has included Character, Mime, National, Spanish, Irish, Classical Greek, Street Dance, Repertoire, Choreography, Lindy Hop, Body conditioning, Dance and Drama, Contemporary, Modern Jazz and Pas de Deux. There is a tuition fee for Cecchetti Associates Central.

Audition date for entry in 2017/18

The audition for the year 2017/2018 will be held on Sunday 11th June 2017 at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, London, TW1 1QN.

Entry Criteria

Boys and Girls aged 7 years and under 18 years by 1st September in the year of the audition may apply for a place.

  • Young Associates - A NEW CLASS introduced for children who are 7 years old and have gained Distinction in Grade 1/Standard 2 in classical ballet.
  • Junior - a good Pass in either Grades 2/3/4 or Standards 2/3/4 in classical ballet. 
  • Senior - a good Pass in Grades 5/6 or Standards 5/6/7 in classical ballet.
  • Graduates – Students working at Vocational level who are under 18 years on September 1st in the year of the audition.
  • Boys' Classes - at Junior and Senior levels
